Marilyn K. Daniels, age 80, of Milford, beloved wife of the late George R. Daniels, passed away in her home on Monday, June 22, 2009. She was born on March 21, 1929 in Bronx N.Y. to the late Leonard and Inez Bushnell Kilmer. Before retiring, she was employed as a caring Registered Nurse for Milford Hospital in the nursery. She will be remembered for her love of animals, devotion to friends and traveling. Mrs. Daniels is survived by her devoted children Kathleen S. Daniels of Cheshire, George R. Daniels of Ansonia, Kevin E. Daniels of Milford, Wayne D. Daniels of Norton, MA and Lisa D. Dickovick of Milford, brother Leonard R. Kilmer of Pocasset, MA, grandchildren Christopher, Leah, Peter, Jesse, Justin and Molly and great granddaughter Annabelle. Calling hours are Thursday, June 25, 2009 from 4 to 7pm at Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A private funeral service and interment will take place on Friday morning. Donations may be made in her name to the CT Humane Soc., 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111 or ASPCA of CT, 359 Spring Hill Rd., Monroe, CT 06468.
