Marjorie Rose Nelson, age 53, of Milford and formerly of Windsor Locks, beloved wife of John-Eric Nelson departed this life on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at New Haven Hospital. She was born on March 24, 1953, daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Rengh) Marcinek. Marjorie was a graduate of Windsor Locks High School and University of New Haven where she obtained a degree in Business. She was employed at Equitable Life Insurance in Milford, before becoming a research analyst for Market Data Retrieval in Shelton. In her spare time, Marjorie loved bird watching, camping, animals, needlework and reading. She was a member of the Audubon New Haven Bird Watchers. Marjorie will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband of 30 years, John-Eric Nelson, stepmother Louise Marcinek of Windsor Locks and brothers: Richard Marcinek and his wife Carol of Conventry and Robert Marcinek and his wife Allison of Essex. Relatives and friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home 135 Broad Street, Milford on Friday, July 21st from 4 - 7 PM. Funeral services will follow at 7 PM at Smith Funeral Home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
