Mary Adamowicz

Mary Anna Adamowicz, age 65, of Middetown, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008 in Middlesex Hospital. Mary had fought a long and hard battle with heart and lung disease. She was born in Bridgeport on November 15, 1942, to the late Ipollitti and Antonette Mobilio Galli. Mary is survived by her loving husband Ronald B. Adamowicz and her devoted son Ronald B. Adamowicz, Jr. both of Middletown. She also leaves two brothers Leonard Galli of Stratford and Louis Galli of Florida, one cousin Cecilia Defranzo and her wonderful family, also several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Frank Galli. Mary was retired from the Student Bus Service in Stratford. She also was an expert fabric art designer. She designed and painted hundreds of shirts and sweaters for her family and friends. Mary was an avid NY Giants and NY Mets fan. Calling hours are Friday, April 4, 2008 from 5 to 8pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 5th at 10:30am St. James Church, 2070 Main St., Stratford. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven in Trumbull. Donations may be made in her name to the American Heart Assoc., 2550 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902
