Mary A. Roy, age 91, of Milford, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in Connecticut Hospice. She was born on April 9, 1922 in Marieville, Canada to the late Conrad and Rose Benjamin Leduc. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she also donated over 20 years of service to the Milford Senior Center. Mrs. Roy is survived by her devoted sons Joseph Roger Roy and his wife Marie of Shelton and Richard G. Roy, Sr. and his wife Marlene of Milford, grandchildren Kathleen Sosa and her husband Luis, Jeffrey Roy and his wife Kimberly and Michelle Terranova, great grandchildren Madison and Skylar Sosa and Luke and Brady Roy, one brother and four sisters. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Roger Roy, Sr., grandson Richard Roy Jr., four brothers and three sisters. Calling hours are Monday, May 13, 2013 from 4 to 7pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 14th at St. Mary’s Church at 10:30am. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
