Maureen Clark
Maureen Wayand. Clark, age 77, beloved wife of Donald F. Clark, a longtime resident of Orange, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 suddenly at home, after a long illness. She was born on September 21, 1933 in New Haven to the late Walter and Alice Begina Wayand. Mrs. Clark was a graduate of the Hartford School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at Griffin Hospital, over twenty years. An active member of the community, she was past president of Garden Club of Orange, member of Our Lady of Good Council Mothers Circle, 4H Leader and member of the Orange County Fair. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children, Mark W. Clark of Torrington, Bryan B.T. Clark and Susanne F. Clark both of Orange and five grandchildren, James, Stephanie, Noah, Catherine and Abigail. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday March 4, 2011 at 11:00 am in Holy Infant Church Orange. Interment will follow in Orange Center Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the Mass from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford.
