Michael J. Jelasko, age 57, of Milford, formerly of Orange, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2007, in Milford Hospital. He was born on December 30, 1949, in Derby to the late Michael and Helen Telep Jelasko. He was employed as an insurance and estate planner for John Hancock Insurance. He proudly serviced in the US Army Reserves. Mr. Jelasko is survived by his loving wife Lois H. Haggerty Jelasko, stepdaughters Deborah Mack Brown of Townsend, VT, Elizabeth Mack Feldman of Oyster Bay, NY and Lisa Mack Daly of Cheshire, brother John Jelasko of Orange and 6 grandchildren. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by a step-son Karl Mack. Calling hours and services are Wednesday, August 8, 2007, from 4 to 7pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. Interment will be private. Donations may be made in his name to the Milford Animal Shelter, 664 E. Broadway, Milford, CT 06460.
