Nadine Johansen
Nadine (Helen) Johansen, age 90, of Ashford and formerly of Milford, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2011 in Riverside Nursing Home in East Hartford. She was born on September 16, 1920 to the late William and Cora Carson Attebury. A dedicated and loving wife and mother, she is survived by her children Russell Johansen of Long Boat Key, FL, Donna Reilly of Ashford, Betsy Putman of Mariposa, CA, Terrence Johansen of West Haven, Coralee Giarratano of Milford, Kathryn Harrington of West Haven and Douglas Johansen of East Haddam, 34 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Harold Johansen, children John, Jayne and Kara Jean Johansen, grandson Jason Giarratano and sisters Aliceann Riddington and Jewel Oltman. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 6:00 pm in, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 84 Trumbull St., New Haven.Obituary
