Nora McCullough

Nora Barbara McCullough, age 93, of Milford, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012 in Golden Hill Health Care Center. She was born in Derby to the late Victoria Kapusta and moved to Milford in 1950. Before retiring, she was employed by Burndy’s. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting and the Milford Senior Center. Mrs. McCullough is survived by her devoted daughters Margaret Emma McCullough and husband Gary of Muscatine, Iowa and Jean Barbara Ganter and husband John of Redding, 2 sisters , Genevieve Dziekan of Branford, CT and Salome Spak of Derby,CT five grandchildren, Jason Ganter and his wife Ann Marie of Milford, CT, Jeremy Ganter of Brooklyn, NY, Jamie Ganter Peterson and husband Steven of Bridgewater, CT, Jessica Fiedler Hubbard of Muscatine, Iowa and Robert Fiedler of Davenport, Iowa. Four great grandchildren, Madison and Cameron of Milford, CT and Aidia and Euan Peterson of Bridgewater, CT. Several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Stanley E. McCullough and daughter Lucy Ann Button. Interment will take place on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Milford, CT.
