Philip Meunier Jr.

Philip Henry Meunier Jr., age 70, a longtime resident ofMilford, passed away on December 13, 2008, in Ocala Florida. He was born on March 12, 1938 in New Haven to the late Philip and Frances Tibbets Meunier, Sr. Mr. Meunier was a Machinist for Landrith Engineering, the former Milford Rivet for many years until his retirement. He was formerly active in Cub Scouting, as well as the Milford Senior Center, and will be remembered for his love and knowledge of world history. Survivors include his children Cheryl Davis and her husband, Robert, Dana Meunier and his wife, Gloria, Donna Garlock and her husband, Wayne, all of Milford, Robin Davis and her husband,Tim, of Ocala, Florida, a brother, Paul Meunier, of Auburn, ME., 21 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and precious little girl, Neve. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his infant sons, Philip and Gregory, and brothers James and Arthur Meunier. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral home prayer service will be held Thursday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery Milford.
