Richard H. Desing, age 73, of Milford passed away in his home on Sunday, April 4, 2010. He was born on April 10, 1936 in Bridgeport. Before retiring, he was the chief stock handler for United Illuminating and an active member of the Milford Audubon Society. He enjoyed woodworking, nature photography and reading. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Desing is survived by his devoted children David R. Desing (wife Linda) of Naugatuck, Kevin J. Desing ( wife Debra) of Milford and Dana S. Brewster (husband Scott) of Gilbert, AZ, sisters Susan Nestor of Trumbull and Donna Collier of Huntington and grandchildren Tyler, Sara, Jordan and Angela. He is predeceased by his loving wife Susan Dubinsky and mother Jane Baker Lobdell. Calling hours are Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from 5 to 8pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 8th at 11am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery.
