Richard D. Kudola, age 62, of Milford passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, December 11, 2008, in Milford Hospital. He was born on June 18, 1946 in Stamford to the late Daniel and Dorothea Evans Kudola. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Kudola was a support specialist with AT&T/SNET for 39 years. He was past Chapter and State Director of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, former member of SNET Pioneer Club, an active outdoorsman, who enjoyed carpentry and photography. Mr. Kudola is survived by his devoted wife, JoAnn Joraskie Kudola, daughter Carly Kudola of Trumbull, a brother Robert (Valerie) Kudola and sister Debbie (Michael) Porter both of Colorado, step children Stephen Matyasovsky and Christine Smith both of Orange, 4 step grandchildren of Orange and father- in-law John Joraskie of PA. Friends may call on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A prayer service will follow at 5:00 pm. Interment will be private.
