Richmond N. Gwatkin, age 68, of Woodbridge, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 in Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was born on July 3, 1945 to the late Elliott and Ruth Hoppen Gwatkin in New Haven. He was the owner of Enchanted Gardens and Ponds in Orange. Mr. Gwatkin is survived by his son Scott R. Gwatkin of New Mexico and brother William Gwatkin of Florida. Calling hours are Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. Interment will be Monday, March 31st directly in Orange Center Cemetery at 12 noon.
