Robert John Porcu, age 43, of Derby passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in his home. He was born to Samuel and Mary Criscuolo Porcu Jr in Derby on November 12, 1971. He was employed in the shipping and receiving department of Carrubba, Inc. in Milford. A loving husband and devoted father, he enjoyed wrestling, photography and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. Besides his parents, he is survived by his dedicated wife Jodi Starodomsky Porcu, daughter Elizabeth Porcu, son Michael Porcu, sisters Joan Porcu of Seymour, Kristin Iannacone and her husband Christopher of California, maternal grandmother Chiyoko “Chia” Criscuolo, paternal grandfather Samuel Porcu, Sr., father and mother-in-law Edward and Diane Visconti. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Porcu Children’s Scholarship Fund at Webster Bank. Calling hours are Monday, November 9, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30pm during the visitation. Interment will be private.
