Robert C. Post, age 58, devoted husband to Mary East Post, passed away July 9, 2017 in Milford Hospital. Bob, son of the late Wallace and Aileen Wilkinson Post, was a lifelong Milford resident. A telecommunications specialist for Frontier, he was also the chairman of the Milford Harbor Commission and a member of Milford Power Squadron. Bob was an avid boater who enjoyed teaching boating safety. His strong belief in family kept extended members connected. He will be missed by his wife Mary, his son, Robert W. Post of Milford; his daughters, Alicia Post Lindstadt and her husband Dylan of Milford, and Lauren Post and her fiancée Michael Ehrlich of Rocky Hill; his sister, Susan Becker of Milford; and his niece and nephew, Kayla and Ken Becker. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Deborah Post. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 13th at 10:30 at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford. There will be no calling hours. The Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford has been entrusted with arrangements.
