Ronald Bottino

Ronald Edward Bottino Sr., age 73, of St. Pauls, NC and formerly of Bridgeport, CT passed away Thursday August 28, 2014 in CT Hospice. He was born on October 12, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Catherine Whalley Bottino. Ronald served proudly in the United States Air Force. He was a truck driver for Corney Transportation, and was a member of Teamsters Local 191. Survivors include his former wife Susan Bottino, their children Ronald (Lisa) Bottino Jr. of Trumbull, Duane (Laura) Bottino of Milford, Scott (Danielle) Bottino of Derby, Dawn Bottino of Ansonia, and 6 grandchildren. In addition, he left a brother George D’Angelico of Nevada, and many devoted friends in NC and CT. He was predeceased by his guardians Frank and Louise Troici, as well as a sister Renee and a brother Alfred. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 10:30am in St. Mary’s Church, Milford . Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, prior to the Mass from 8:30am to 9:30am at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St , Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The NY Foundling, 590 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10011, www.nyfoundling.org.
