Rose M. MacAllister, age 84, of Orange, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2008, in Connecticut Hospice. She was born on June 13, 1923 in Campbell, Ohio to the late Andrew and Josephine Bichkova Boris. Before become a dedicated wife and mother, she was employed as a legal secretary of Admiralty Law Firm in New York City and Armstrong Rubber. In her spare time, she enjoyed Bird Watching and the Boston Red Sox. Mrs. MacAllister is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Thomas MacAllister, devoted daughter Dawn Rose MacAllister and her husband Charles Siegel Jr. of Stafford, VA, sister Nancy Hudy of Ohio and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Thursday, January 10, 2008, at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford from 6 to 8pm. A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 11th at 10am. Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Fairfield. Donations may be made in her name to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
