Rosemary Kitchen Obituary

Rosemary E. Kitchen, 93, a lifelong resident of Milford passed away on May 20, 2017 at Golden Hill Rehab Pavilion where she had resided for the past 3 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Travis C. Kitchen, her mother, Mary Eileen Dugan and father, Earl W. Dugan Sr., all of Milford. Rosemary is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Williams Gainer and her husband, William of Southington, a daughter, Joan Williams Kromer also of Southington, and a son, Robert D. Williams III and his wife, Linda of Milford; her granddaughter, Nicole Williams Tucker and husband Andrew of Brooklyn NY; her grandsons, William Gainer and wife, Katy of Southington, Robert Gainer and wife Jennifer of Fairfield, Joseph Kromer of PA and Jason Kromer of Stratford; and her great grandsons, Matthew, Christopher, and Cameron Gainer, Zane, Cooper, and Jason Kromer Jr., and Cameron Tucker. Rosemary retired from U.S. Motors in Milford where she worked as a secretary for many years. She was a past president and member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 7788 in Devon, and was a member of Christ the Redeemer Church and of the Ladies Guild there as well. The Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.
