Stephen Dropp

Stephen R. Dropp, age 85, of Milford, died Tuesday April 28, 2009 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Harriet Ard Dropp. Born on February 28, 1924 in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary Kachmarik Drap. Mr. Dropp was a Planning and Scheduling Coordinator for the Bridgeport Brass Company for several years until his retirement. He was an avid Red Sox and Giants fan. In addition to his wife he is survived by his devoted children, Lesia Angelo of West Haven, Lorna Clement of North Haven and Leah Charney and her husband Robert of Milford, his cherished grandchildren, Stephen, Laura, Anthony, Aaron, Adam, James , Peter and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by five brothers, a sister and beloved grandson, Ralph Angelo IV. All services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The arrangements are in the care of the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. Donations may be made in his memory to CT Hospice 100 Double Beach Rd. Branford, CT 06405.
