Theresa J. Marczak, age 95, a life long Milford resident, passed away in West River Health Care Center on Sunday, November 16, 2008. She was born on June 23, 1913, to the late Michael and Frances Dobkowki Ignatowski. Before retiring, she was employed as an assembler for Shick Inc. and was a member of St. Mary’s Guild, Legion of Mary and Milford-Orange YMCA. A devoted wife and mother, she is survived by her children Stanley M. Marczak and his wife Elaine of Milford, Arthur J. Marczak and his wife Cathrine of North Branford, George E. Marczak and his wife Sandra of Moosup and Melanie A. Hoey-Soloman and her husband Alan of Milford, daughter-in-law Mary Lou Marczak of Milford, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Stanley W. Marczak, son David Marczak and several brothers and sisters. Calling hours are Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 5 to 8 pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 20th at 10:30am in St. Mary Church. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery in Derby.
