Vera Louise Loeber, age 85, of Milford, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2008, in Milford Hospital. She was born in Cranston, RI on September 30, 1922, to the late Henry F. and Gertrude Holt Moore. She was a homemaker and the beloved wife of the late Willliam P. Loeber. Mrs. Loeber was a fifty year member of the First United Church of Christ Congregational, a member of the Milford Senior Center and will be remembered for her love of quilting and gardening. Survivors include a daughter Barbara Sbalbi and husband Robert of Milford, sons Robert A. Loeber and wife Jane of Cabot, AR., and William F. Loeber of Goodyear, AZ. She is also survived by two nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a daughter Margaret J. Loeber and brother Ronald Moore. The family would like to thank the staff of Milford Hospital and especially the Hospice Care Program. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday July 23, 2008 at 7:00 pm in the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Interment will be private.
