Vincent Allan Lattanzi, age 63, of Milford, beloved husband of Kathleen Zylinski Lattanzi, passed away on Sunday March 3, 2013 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Vincent D. and Angelina Gurnari Lattanzi. Mr. Lattanzi was a free lance writer and a very active member of the Milford Community. He was a former and the first director of the Beth –El Shelter, active in the CPAC Soup Kitchen, G.K. Chesterton Society, ETWN of Irondale, AL and the Edgar Allen Poe Society of Baltimore, Md. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Tammy Lattanzi, Brandon Lattanzi and wife Sasha, Colette Lattanzi and fiancé Bill Fritz, Christen Pond and husband Harvey, Julianna Shabarekh and Husband Rob, Leah Lattanzi and boyfriend Lamott Jackson ,Vincent W. Lattanzi and wife Jill and Damian Lattanzi and wife Becky, grandchildren Gabriel, Scarlett, Emma, Phineas, Violet Lattanzi and Gloria Pond, a sister Beverly Crane and several nephews. A wake will be held Thursday March 7, 2013 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:30 am DIRECTLY in St. Mary Church Milford. Interment will be private. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 and EWTN Network 5817 Old Leeds Rd Irondale AL 35210.
