William Schrader III

William Schrader III, age 69, of Milford, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2007, in Griffin Hospital. He was born on January 21, 1938, in New York City, to the late William and Elizabeth Genor Schrader, Jr. Before retiring, he was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft. An active member of the community, he was a Past Master of Ansantawae Lodge No. 89 A.F. & A.M., a former Vice Commodore of East End Yacht Club, life member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla #73 and a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Bridgeport. Mr. Schrader is survived by his loving wife, of 46 years, Marian Wagner, son William Schrader IV of Milford, daughters Carol Schrader PHD and her husband Dr. Erik Garcia of Princeton, MA and Amy Delaney and her husband Scott of Newtown, brothers Atty. Andrew Schrader and his wife Susan of North Bangor, NY and Richard J. Schrader and his wife Dianne of Bethany and grandchildren David and Emily Garcia. Calling hours are TODAY, Monday, July 30, 2007, from 5 to 8pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. During calling hours, at 7pm, Ansantawae Lodge No. 89 A.F. & A.M. will perform a masonic service. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 31st, at the funeral home at 11am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104 or the Masonic Home, 22 Masonic Ave., Wallingford, CT 06492.
