Waterbury - Mrs. Alice F. (Klimasauskas) Sakocius, age 98, of Waterbury died Thursday June 21,2012 at her home. She was the widow of George P. Sakocius. Mrs. Sakocius was born in Waterbury on March 29,1914 a daughter of the late Alexander and Ceclia (Brendzius) Klimasauskas. She was a communicant of SS Peter and Paul Church in Waterbury and a member of the Prospect Senior Citizens. She enjoyed crafting and sewing. Mrs. Sakocius is survived by two sons, George Sakocius and his wife Elaine of Middlebury and Gerald Sakocius of Waterbury, 5 grandchildren, Cynthia Michalski of Arizona, George Abel of Waterbury, Christine Sakocius of Naugatuck, Sharon Machin of Oakville and Elaine Sakocius of Southbury, 7 great grandchildren, Jason Michalski of Arizona, Todd Michalski of Arizona, Heather Sakocius of Southbury, Amber Dickey of Southbury, Katie Dickey of Southbury, Joshua Machin of Oakville and Norah Machin of Oakville and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Tuesday June 26,2012 at 10:45 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Rd. Route 69 Prospect to SS Peter and Paul Church 67 Southmayd Rd. Waterbury for a mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Wayterbury.
