Allan Tampellini

<p>Allan Tampellini, 62, passed peacefully from this life into the next on January 2, 2017 in the VITAS Hospice Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital after a long illness. </p><p><br></p><p>Al was born in Naugatuck, CT to the late Oscar and Lenore (O’Connor) Tampellini. He was a lifelong resident of Naugatuck, graduated from Naugatuck High School and spent his life in the building trades and was a talented carpenter. </p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by brothers, Joseph and his wife Patricia and Patrick and his wife Rosemary; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins. Al was predeceased by his brother, Edward Tampellini. </p><p><br></p><p>There are no calling hours. A final farewell will be at the convenience of the family. </p><p><br></p><p>To honor Al’s memory, contributions may be sent to the VITAS Innovative Patient Care Unit, 56 Franklin Street, Waterbury, CT 06706.</p>
