Angela B. (Brzeski) Stanco (Angel), 69, of Prospect, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 18, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Anthony P. Stanco for 51 years. Angela was born on December 25,1941 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Joseph and Violet (Lago) Brzeski. She was a member of the Prospect Senior Center and the Quilting Society. She loved arts and crafts, playing cards, and was an avid animal lover. Besides her husband, Angela is survived by her four sons, Anthony of New Haven, Mark Stanco of Middletown, Christopher Stanco and his wife Sandy of East Hampton, Matthew Stanco and his wife Jennifer of Bristol, four beautiful grandchildren, Ashley, Crissy, Tabetha, and Alexander, and one sister, Nancy. Angela will forever be in the hearts of all her family and friends. A Celebration of Angela’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect CT 06712. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday afternoon from 4-6 p.m.at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
