Wintergarden, FL- Anna (Paulella) DeSantis, 96, formerly of Waterbury passed away on Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Health Central in Florida. She was the widow of Nicholas DeSantis. Mrs. DeSantis was born on September 4, 1913 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Pasquale and Giuseppina "Josephine" (Fasuli) Paulella. She was retired from Sherwood Medical after many years of service. She is survived by two daughters, Arlene Fraser and her husband George of Prospect and Joan Longo and her husband Tony of Winter Garden, FL, her son, Thomas DeSantis and his wife Pauline of Windermere, FL. Six grandchildren, Lori Bonitata and her husband Mark of Auburn, CA, Neil Fraser and his wife Lisa of Bethlehem, CT, Randy Fraser and his wife Heidi of Yorktown Heights, NY, Peter DeSantis of Seattle, WA, Eleanor Johnston of Roseville, CA, and Angela DeSantis of Windermere, FL. Seven great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Brittany Bonitata of CA, Neil and Bryan Fraser of Bethlehem, CT, Nicholas and Benjamin Fraser of Yorktown Heights, NY and Jayce Johnston of CA. She was predeceased by one son Michael DeSantis. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, 4 Union City Rd, Prospect. Relatives and friends members are asked to please meet directly at the church at 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Prospect is in charge of arrangements.
