Prospect - Mrs. Arita C. (Gregory) Raudis, of 38 Clark Hill Road, died Saturday February 27,2010 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of William J. Raudis Sr. Mrs. Raudis was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y. on September 16,1931 a daughter of the late George and Isabelle (Murphy) Gregory. She was retired from Timex Corporation in Middlebury and was a communicant of St.Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Propsect. She enjoyed gardening, line dancing and spending time with her grandchildren and traveling. Mrs. Raudis is survived by four daughters: Anna Oquendo and her husband Ralph of Williston, FL, Monica Carrafa and her husband Dante of Southington, Attorney Cheryl Crespi and her husband Dr. Tony Crespi of Meriden, and Charlene Longo and her husband Peter of Terryville, two sons: William J. Raudis Jr. and his wife Dawn of Southington and Anthony Raudis and his wife Sandra of Prospect, four sisters: Ivana Tienken of Trenton, NJ, Noma Costin of Wolcott, Ida Spooner of Thomaston and Jennie Spooner of Keeseville, NY, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Tuesday March 2,2010 at 8:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Rd. Route 69 Prospect to St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church 4 Union City Rd. Prospect for a mass at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday March 1,2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributrions may be made to the American Lung Association of New England 460 Totten Pond Rd, Suite 400, Waltham, MA
