Barry L. Caouette Key West Insurance retiree WATERBURY — Mr. Barry L. Caouette, age 65, of 1405 Highland Ave., died unexpectedly on Monday, July 4, 2011 at his home. Mr. Caouette was born in Waterbury on March 18,1946, a son of the late Otis Matthew and Hazel (Pritchard) Caouette. He was raised in Prospect, graduated from Quinnipiac College and also lived in Key West, Fla. for many years. He was retired from the Key West Insurance Co. where he worked as a salesman for many years. Mr. Caouette is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Finn and her husband David of Biloxi, Miss.; a son, William Caouette and his wife Erin of Plantsville; a sister, Sue C. Mitnick of Waterbury; one brother; one granddaughter, Abby Caouette and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his longtime companion, Raymond C. Richter. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect. As per Barry's wishes, casual attire please. Burial will be in Prospect. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, July 9, 2011 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association, Connecticut Chapter, 4 Oxford Road, Milford, CT 06460.
