Carlos Martins

Naugatuck-Carlos J. Martins, 59, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Hartford Hospital with his loving wife by his side. He was the husband of Ana Maria (Silva) Martins. Carlos was born on September 20, 1954 in Girabolhos, Portugal a son of the late Joao Martins and Ana Rija de Jesus. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church and both the Naugatuck and Waterbury Portuguese Club. Besides his wife Ana Maria he is survived by several brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. Carlos was a good man and will be missed by all who knew him. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin Street, Waterbury. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck is in charge of the arrangements.
