Naugatuck-Mrs. Catherine A. (Triano) Burt, 81, of 341 Donovan Rd., died Friday, April 2, 2010 at Waterbury Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Albert W. Burt. Mrs. Burt was born July 5, 1928 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Mariano) Triano. She had worked in the office at Uniroyal, Inc for over 25 years and in the kitchen at the Middlebury Convalescent Hospital for over 25 years. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. She loved and lived for her family. Besides her husband Albert of Naugatuck, she is survived by one son, James Burt and his wife Jean of Meriden, three daughters, Diane Chase and her husband Ronald of Plainville, Katherine (Karter) Helman and her husband Bruce of East Liverpool, Ohio, Mary Ellen Rosa and her husband John of Wolcott, eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a grandchild, Gregory Chase and 11 brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held on Tuesday April 6, 2010 at 9:30 A.M. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, to St. Mary's Church for a Mass at 10 A.M. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 P.M. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Middlebury Convalescent Hospital, Inc.
