Prospect-Charlotte Bridget (Melendez) Levine, 89 , passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011. She was the wife of James O. Levine . Mrs. Levine was born on December 12, 1921 in Bronx, NY a daughter of the late Armando and Margaret Ann (Murphy) Melendez. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Prospect, a member of the St. Anthony's Ladies Guild, Prospect Senior Center and Friends of the Prospect Library. She enjoyed crafting and decorating. Besides her husband of Prospect she is survived by her four children, Cheryl Levine-Dermody and her husband William of Middlebury; Donna Levine-Nordstrom and her husband Gary of Arlington Heights, IL; Robert Levine and his wife Lynette of Springboro, OH and James Levine and his wife Marian of Middlebury, two sisters; Dorothy Englehardt and Rita Orosz both of St. James, L.I., nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, 4 Union City Rd, Prospect. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery.
