NAUGATUCK — Clifford A. Teeple Jr., 82, of 53 Conrad St., died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at the Glendale Center after a long illness. Mr. Teeple was born on May 28, 1928, in Waterbury, a son of the late Clifford A. and Maryann (Mack) Teeple Sr. He was a former engineer with the Bristol-Babcock Co. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Marine Corps League. He is survived by two daughters, Hannah Clark and her husband, John, of Naugatuck and Ruth Teeple-Duff and her spouse, Mary, of Naugatuck; one son, Robert Teeple and his wife, Sheila, of Maine; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, William Teeple, and a daughter, Mary Louise Teeple. Private graveside services with full military honors will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 25, at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
