Mrs. Cynthia A. Whitlock Mental health associate NAUGATUCK - Mrs. Cynthia Ann (Squires) Whitlock, 72, of 480 Millville Ave., died Thursday, July 28, 2011, at the Glendale Center in Naugatuck. She was the widow of Norman Whitlock. Mrs. Whitlock was born in Naugatuck on July 12, 1939, daughter of the late Seymour and Barbara (Kilbourne) Squires. She was retired from Fairfield Hills Hospital where she worked as a mental health associate for many years. She enjoyed traveling, meeting people and having a good time. Mrs. Whitlock is survived by three daughters, Debbie Wheelahan and her husband, Frank, of Watertown, Tina O'Connor and her husband, Steve, of Naugatuck, and Jill Guluzy and her husband, Joe, of Beacon Falls; a son, Tom Sandt of Tonawanda, N.Y.; a sister, Judi Fischer and her husband, Phil, of Williamsville, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, is in charge of arrangements.
