Dennis Arthur Fowler, Sr. 1949 - 2020 Bethany, CT Dennis Arthur Fowler, Sr., of Bethany, CT passed away on May 21, 2020. Dennis was born on January 28, 1949 in Newport, NH a son of the late George Ellsworth Fowler and Catherine (Smiar) Fowler and had lived in Bethany for most of his life. He was an avid NASCAR fan and a patriot. Dennis was always ready to lend a helping hand. He leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife of 53 years, Carol (Simpson) Fowler; his beloved son, Dennis and wife, Kerri and three beautiful granddaughters, Sara, Lauren and Erin; his brothers, George Fowler and wife, Sharyn and Bradley Fowler and wife, Kathy; numerous nieces and nephews and in laws and his best friends, Joe Mauro, Roger Stevens, Carlos Ortiz, Stuart Peck and Tom Hicks. Special thanks to the nurses of Harold Leever Smilow and Hospice for their special care of Dennis. All services will be private and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
