Prospect, CT-. Mr. Dennis W. Strumpf, age 50, of 9 Laura Avenue, died Friday October 23,2009 at Waterbury Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Strumpf was born in Waterbury, CT on March 17,1959 a son of Herman O. Strumpf of Prospect and the late Joan (Turmel) Strumpf. He was a lifelong resident of Prospect and was a communicant of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Prospect. He was an avid NASCAR racing fan. Besides his father, Mr. Strumpf is survived by his Step Mother: Charlene (Spaar) Strumpf, one sister: Doreen Stubin of Cheshire, two brothers: David Strumpf of Wolcott and Herman Strumpf of Litchfield and three nephews. The funeral will be held on Saturday October 24,2009 at 10 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Rd.
