Naugatuck-Dennis L. Thompson, 49 of 48 Pleasantview St. passed away on Monday, August 9, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Mary C. "Tina" (Nicholas) Thompson. Dennis was born on May 17, 1961 in Abilene, TX a son of the late David Thompson and Freda (Cain) (Thompson) Reilly. He was a member of the Painter Union Local #481 "IUPAT" and the Harley Owners Group (HOG). Besides his wife of Naugatuck he is survived by , two sisters, Donna Crowningshield and her husband James of Waterbury and Michele Searles and her husband Ken of Waterbury, two brothers, David Thompson and his wife Tara of Clarksburg, WV and Darryl Thompson of Prospect, his step-father, Michael Reilly of Naugatuck and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother Daniel Thompson. The funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck on Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Harold Leever Cancer Center, 1075 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT 06708.
