Naugatuck, CT Dino J. Mengacci, 90, died peacefully on December 23, 2017. Dino was born on May 31, 1927 in Naugatuck, CT, a son of the late Giuseppe and Domenica (Vaccarelli) Mengacci and was a lifelong Naugatuck resident. He retired from Peter Paul, and after retiring, he worked part-time at Big Y. Dino was a gentle and loving man who was happiest when cooking for and spending time with his family and friends. Dino is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dino was predeceased by his brothers, Adam Mengacci and Raymond Mengacci and his sisters, Erma Casini, Vera Magas and Mary Oris. Services were private and Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck was entrusted with the arrangements.Obituary
