Naugatuck- Edward J. Pratt 35, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, July 21,2012. He was the son of Edward and Pamela (Barstis) Pratt. EJ was born in Waterbury on November 20,1976. He Graduated with honors from Kaynor Technical School in 1995. He served honorable with the U.S. Army earning is parachutist badge and he was a veteran who served in Bosnia and Korea. EJ was a great person who could accomplish anything he set his mind to. Family and friends that EJ had touched in some way throughout his short, yet very memorable life will miss him. EJ's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality far exceeds the time in which one lives. Besides his parents EJ leaves two sisters Karlene and her husband Mike Falk of Southington and Kelly Pratt and her husband Jake Ruslow of Terryville. A memorial service for family and close friends will be held on Thursday, July 26. 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in EJ's memory can be made to South Park Inn a homeless Veterans transitional living program www.southparkinn.org .
