EILEEN K. NELSON “Proud Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother” Waterbury, CT Eileen K. Nelson, 75, widow of Leonard Thomas Nelson, died June 18, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Eileen was born on January 5, 1945 in Bridgeport, CT the daughter of the late Louis and Marie (Fee) Dennis. She was a proud and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she loved her cat Allie. Eileen is survived by her sons, Robert Kindle and Michael Kindle; her daughters, Sharon Kindle, Kathleen Nelson and her fiancé, Dennis Boyle and Susan Gomez and her husband, Luis Gomez; her 9 grandchildren and her 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and her parents, Eileen was predeceased by her grandson, Donald S. Costa, Jr. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 10:00am until 12:00pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. A Graveside Service will be at 12:30pm at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Everyone attending Eileen’s services is required to wear a face covering and to adhere to social distancing policies.
