Parkland, FL Elizabeth D. “Betty” Biolo, 94, the widow of Anthony J. “B” Biolo, died peacefully on June 11, 2018 in Parkland, FL, surrounded by loving family. Betty was born on September 30, 1923 in Waterbury, CT a daughter of the late Anthony and Grace (D’Amico) DiMeco. Betty lived most of her life in Waterbury, where she graduated from grammar school and high school and attended Post University. She was a lifelong musician and a member of the American Accordionists Association. Betty is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Bozzuto and husband, David Bozzuto of Middlebury, CT., Barbara Natelle and husband, John Natelle of Green Bay WI., Bev Capasso and husband, Bob Capasso of Parkland, FL and Bonnie Jannetty and her companion, Mark Whitney of Clearwater, FL; her grandchildren, Elisa Bozzuto Rinaldi of Watertown, CT, David M. Bozzuto and wife, Kelly Bozzuto of Goshen, CT, Robert Capasso of New York, NY, Thomas Capasso and fiancé, Christina of Miami, FL and Dale Jannetty of Clearwater, FL; her great grandchildren, Joshua Rinaldi and Bradley Bozzuto and many nieces and nephews whom Betty was very fond of. In addition to her husband and her parents, Betty was predeceased by her son-in-law, David Jannetty, her brother, Tony DiMeco, her sisters, Frances Troiani and Lillian Fasano and her good friend and companion, Mario Mucci. Betty’s family would like to sincerely thank Gem, Blake and all the staff at Aston Gardens for the excellent care they provided. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main Street South, Southbury, CT. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown, CT. A calling hour will be Friday from 8:45 to 9:45am at the Sacred Heart Church Day Chapel. In lieu of flowers and to honor Betty’s memory, contributions can be made to Our Fathers Soup Kitchen PO Box 668571 Pompano Beach Florida 33066. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck, CT.
