<p>Elizabeth “Betty” Carey</p><p>Beloved Wife and Mother</p><p>WATERBURY- Elizabeth “Betty” G. Carey, 72, wife of John F. Carey, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Waterbury Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.</p><p>Betty was born on June 27, 1946, in Waterbury, a daughter of Gerard and Stella (Sopko) Bilbow. Betty was a trusting, loving, and caring person; who took care of everyone, especially her family, when they needed help. She loved animals, especially cats. She was also a very talented artist, who loved painting seasonal window displays for local business and on her bay window at home. </p><p>In addition to her husband of 52 years, John, Betty is survived by her son, John M. Carey; her granddaughter, Samantha LaRose; her nieces Kathy and Deborah; her nephew, Michael; and her brother, Patrick. Betty now goes to join her daughter, Elizabeth “Betty” Carey; her parents; and her sister, Josephine Gelinas. </p><p>There will be no calling hours. Beloved Wife and Mother

WATERBURY- Elizabeth “Betty” G. Carey, 72, wife of John F. Carey, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Waterbury Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Betty was born on June 27, 1946, in Waterbury, a daughter of Gerard and Stella (Sopko) Bilbow. Betty was a trusting, loving, and caring person; who took care of everyone, especially her family, when they needed help. She loved animals, especially cats.
