Mrs. Francisca Nogueira Walmart department head NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Francisca Nogueira, age 60, of Naugatuck, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at her home. She was the wife of Samuel Oliveira. Mrs. Nogueira was born in Grandola, Portugal, on April 6, 1952, a daughter of Eugenia Larguinho of Portugal and the late Anibal Nogueira. She worked as a department head at Walmart and was a member of the Calvary Life Church in Cheshire. Besides her husband, and her mother, Mrs. Nogueira is survived by a daughter, Katherine Oliveira of Naugatuck; a son, Alexandre Oliveira and his wife, Jennifer, of Naugatuck; two sisters, Maria Filomena Calvao of Bridgeport, and Maria DaConceicao Nogueira of Portugal; and a grandson, Noah Oliveira of Naugatuck. She was predeceased by a sister, Maria Emelia Martins. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Calvary Life Church, 174 East Johnson Ave. Cheshire. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, is in charge of arrangements.
