Frank Tutolo

Naugatuck-Frank M. Tutolo, Jr., 83, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by his loving family after a short illness. He was the husband of the late Cynthia (Lods) Tutolo. Frank was born on March 18, 1930 in Waterbury a son of the late Frank Tutolo Sr. and Angelina (Petrucelli) Tutolo. He worked for Uniroyal, Inc., for 23 years and retired. He owned the Knotty Pine Package Store in Waterbury for 25 years. He was a Huge UCONN Basketball fan and enjoyed playing setback with his family, traveling and going to the beach. He is survived by his two daughters, Linda Tutolo and her companion, Ralph Perillo of Watertown, and Debbie Tutolo-Hennessey and her husband Jim of Naugatuck, two brothers, Leonard Tutolo of Wolcott and Robert Tutolo of Prospect. He will also be missed by his grandson, Matthew. Besides his loving wife Cynthia he was predeceased by his two sisters, Jennie Sandin and Lucille Brett. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Watertown. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck on Monday evening from 5-7 p.m.
