Gary McEnerney

Gary J. McEnerney Appliance repairman PROSPECT - Mr. Gary J. McEnerney, 40, of 18 Oak Lane, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at his home. He was the husband of Berta (Sanches) McEnerney. Mr. McEnerney was born in Waterbury on Aug. 30, 1970, son of Lucille (Bonacassio) McEnerney of Prospect and the late John M. McEnerney. He was a 1988 graduate of Holy Cross High School in Waterbury and worked as an appliance repairman at A.O.K. Appliance. Gary was a loving and devoted husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family. Besides his wife, and his mother, Mr. McEnerney is survived by a daughter, Marisa McEnerney of Prospect; a son, Julian McEnerney of Prospect; a sister, Sharon Sagendorf and her husband, Victor, of Woodbury; two brothers, John McEnerney of Boston, and Steven McEnerney of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Julia and Domingos Sanches of Portugal; and his brother-in-law, Abilio Sanches of Waterbury. A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, at St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect, on Sunday, July 31, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m.
