Naugatuck-Gloria (Spadola) Latina, 81, wife of Tony Latina passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Latina was born in Waterbury on May 10, 1929 a daughter of the late Frank and Ivy (McKinney) Spadola. She graduated from Mattatuck College in Waterbury with an Associates Degree in Accounting. She was retired from the Middlebury Headquarters of Uniroyal, Inc.where she worked as an accountant for many years. Gloria was educated in Waterbury Schools and lived there until moving to Naugatuck in 1954. She was an animal lover and a contributor to several Animal Rescue organizations. Besides her husband of Naugatuck she is survived by one daughter, Carol Snyder and her husband Ronald of Mesa, AZ, one sister, Eleanor Lyman and her husband Raymond of Oakville, three grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held in Wooster Cemetery in Naugatuck at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck is in charge of arrangements.
