Prospect-Harold L. "Bud" Johnson, 77, passed away at home unexpectedly on Monday December 5, 2011. Mr. Johnson was born on March 13, 1934 in Waterbury a son of the late Harold L. Johnson, Sr. and Lola (Wise) Johnson. He was retired from Uniroyal where he worked as a Machine Technologist for over 30 years he also worked at St. Mary's Hospital for 10 years and at Now Inc. He was a member of the Prospect Senior Center. He was a loving, caring person who loved his children and grandchildren and especially enjoyed Marie's family. He is survived by his longtime companion, Marie Delage, four sons, Kenneth Johnson of Torrington, Gary Johnson and his wife Mary and Kevin Johnson all of Plainville, Randy Johnson and his wife Tina of Lehigh Acres, FL , his sister, Betty DePalma of Southington eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Patricia Bridschge and Gayle Quint and his brother Ronald Johnson. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Grove Cemetery, 1 Cross Street, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect is in charge of the arrangements.
