James Paul "Jimmy" Ardry 1941 - 2020 Beacon Falls, CT James Paul “Jimmy” Ardry, 79, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2020 at Cheshire House after a brief illness. James was born on September 5, 1941 in Waterbury, CT a son of the late Frederick Jacob and Elva (Rowe) Ardry and had lived in Naugatuck most of his life. James retired from Peter Paul Hershey where he worked for 41 years in the shipping department. James was a proud U.S. Army veteran; he was a member of the B.P.O. Elks, Lodge 967 in Naugatuck for 48 years and was a former Elk of the Year. James is survived by his daughters, Vanessa Elva Ferguson and her husband, Nicholas Ferguson and Emma Janet Ardry; his 2 grandchildren, Charlotte and Nicholas Ferguson; his brother, Ronald Ardry and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his brothers, Frederick Ardry and Kenneth Ardry and his sisters, Betty Guild, Donna Salerno, Barbara Camera, Dorothy Szczoczarz and Shirley Buckles. James’s family would like to sincerely thank the dedicated staff at Cheshire House for the wonderful care that they provided. There are no services planned at this time due to the pandemic. A celebration of James’s life we will held at a later date. To honor James’s memory, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
