<p>Mrs. John L. Chatfield - Enjoyed Counted Cross Stitching </p><p><br></p><p>Prospect - Mrs. Jane (Kelsey) Chatfield, age 90, of 14 Cornwall Ave. died Wednesday April 21,2010 at her home. She was the widow of John L. Chatfield. </p><p><br></p><p>Mrs. Chatfield was born in Waterbury on March 12, 1920 a daughter of the late Clifford H. Kelsey and the late Effie (McCloud) (Kelsey) Willits. She was a devoted Mother and homemaker and was a member of the Beacon Falls Congregational Church. Mrs. Chatfield was a former member of the Rainbow Girls, a past president of the Prospect Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary, a past president of the Prospect Community School PTA, a member of the Prospect Canasta Club for 63 years, a former member of the Board of Directors of the Prospect Drum Corps.</p><p><br></p><p>Mrs. Chatfield is survived by her loving family: 3 daughters: Marjorie Jane Peterson and her husband Bill of Palm Desert, CA, Arrol E. McGarvey and her husband Tom of Prospect, Nancy J. Marcella and her husband Robert of North Haven, 2 sons: Robert J. Chatfield and his wife Ginny of Prospect and Donald L. Chatfield and his wife Jeanne of Prospect, 4 grandchildren: Leslie Chatfield, Michael Chatfield, Kelly Young and Thomas McGarvey Jr., 4 great grandchildren: Tyler, Zack, Jonathan, and Leah and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter: Elaine Chatfield and a brother: Merrill "Bing" Kelsey.</p><p><br></p><p>Mrs. Chatfield's family would like to thank Dr. Drew Edwards her primary care physian, Dr. Reis her cardiologist, the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, Dr. Kert Sabbath, Karen Martin, APRN and staff for their special care and his kind words toward the end of her life, Audrey Leete of Connecticut Hospice and everyone who was so very kind and caring during their Mother's illness.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be held on Monday April 26,2010 at 9 a.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Rd. Route 69 Prospect. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday April 25, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial contributions may be made to the Prospect Volunteer Fire Department P.O.
