Naugatuck-Mrs. Jean (Van Sands) Leigh, 75, of 66 Terrace Ave 1D, died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Gladeview Healthcare Center in Old Saybrook. She was the widow of Francis Leigh. Mrs. Leigh was born on September 16, 1935 in Branford a daughter of the late Roland and Elianor (Morris) Van Sands. She is survived by one daughter, Toni "T.J." Leigh of West Haven, four sons, Gregory Leigh of Wallingford, Stephan Leigh of Meriden, Harry Leigh of West Haven and Mark Leigh of Florida, one sister Virginia Balough of Meriden, 11 Grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck is in charge of the arrangements.
