BEACON FALLS — Mr. Jeremy Robert Dominko, 33, of 149 Munson Road, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at his home. Mr. Dominko was born in Danbury on Feb. 4, 1978, son of Stephen Dominko of New Hampshire and Alice (Betkoski) Smith of Beacon Falls. He was a painting and restoration contractor and owner of Horizon Coatings. He was a communicant of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Beacon Falls and a member of the Naugatuck Eagles Club. Jeremy was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman and loved hiking the great outdoors and wilderness. He enjoyed skiing, target shooting and was a black belt in Akido. He was also a self-taught musician, playing guitar and writing music. Besides his parents, Mr. Dominko is survived by his stepfather, Tony Smith of Beacon Falls; his stepmother, Beverly (Butler) Dominko of New Hampshire; two brothers, Paul Smith of Naugatuck, and Ean Smith of Beacon Falls; his grandmother, Carmel O'Neal; five aunts, Barbara Betkoski, Diane Betkoski and Laurie Siraco of Beacon Falls, Nicole Yanarella of Naugatuck, and Elizabeth Gallagher of Maine; and three uncles, Joseph Betkoski, John Smith and Jeffrey Smith of Beacon Falls. He was predeceased by a brother, Brean Smith. A memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011, at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 25 Maple Ave., Beacon Falls. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Naugatuck, at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, on Friday, April 29, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Church Building Fund, 25 Maple Ave., Beacon Falls 06403.
